1 I think these three images is the Change of Command Ceremony when Carroll Issacs was promoted from 161st Co to 14th Battalion Commander.  1st Sgt Oakley is on the left pinning the Green Leadership tabs. 3 Pelicans Roost Maintenace Area Hooch with shower NVA Trawler that the 161st Scorpion Gunships help blast in July of 1967 just south of Chu Lai. Looking inland from the beach at the stream that seperated the 161st and 14th Battalion HQ.  The white smoke in the distance is the still burning ammo dump that got blasted the night of Tet. More of the burning ammo dump that was blasted during Tet. 123rd Aviation Battalion at Ky Ha. Night time. Ky Ha, Navy CB dock facility One of the islands back behind Ky Ha.
