Robert Douglas Anderson was Killed-in-Action on September 29, 1967. Bob's sister, Sheri Rathbun, contacted me after finding our website on the 40th anniversary of Bob's death. I was able to put her in contact with Dan Marcantel, our platoon sargent who was with Bob that day. Both Sheri and Dan said their conversation was both emotional and brought some closure in their lives.
